Power through Focus
The difference is in the way the Model 03 harnesses its tiny light source. It uses an interchangeable, hardened glass lens system to focus every ounce of light from its LED into a concentrated beam of power. You can adjust the focus from flood to spot, providing usable light to a distance of over 250 yards. All from a flashlight running on two AA batteries.

Efficient, Energy-saving Design
Having a flashlight that runs on such low power means that you won't need expensive and hard-to-find batteries, or have to change them out so quickly. The Model 03 runs on two standard AA batteries and lasts up to six hours on economy mode. And if find you need all the illumination you can get, you can engage the button on the back to get a 30 percent boost in power. Unlike most flashlights, the electronic current controller inside maximizes the power output, ensuring that its burn time is consistently bright, not gradually dimmer as the batteries wear out.

The Model 03 was built to be efficently focused. We measure our flashlight's brightness in Lux, because Lux offers a defining parameter of distance. The Model 03 delivers a blinding 6000 Lux at one meter.
