It uses an interchangeable, hardened glass lens system to focus every ounce of light from its Luxeon LED into a concentrated beam of power. In fact, you can adjust the focusing distance to see up close, or see as far away as 150 ft. All from a flashlight running on eight tenths of a watt.

Efficient, Energy-saving Design
Having a flashlight that runs on such low power means that you won't need expensive and hard-to-find batteries, or have to change them out so quickly. The Model 01 runs on two standard AAA batteries and lasts up to six hours on economy mode. And if find you need all the illumination you can get, you can engage the button on the back to get a 30 percent boost in power. Unlike most flashlights, the electronic current controller inside maximizes the power output, ensuring that its burn time is consistently bright, not gradually dimmer as the batteries wear out.
